Experience

Marjorie A. Bennett, CFA is the principal of Aegis Capital Management, Inc. Ms. Bennett has been involved in the asset management and general finance businesses since 1981. Aegis Capital Management, Inc., was founded in 1998 with Ms. Bennett as the principal professional. Prior to Aegis, Ms. Bennett worked as a vice president in the San Francisco office of Morgan Stanley and had also been employed as a senior financial executive for Bay Area companies, including one of the original “Big Eight” public accounting firms.

Ms. Bennett’s expertise has been highlighted in articles in Business Week, Morningstar, Financial Planning Magazine, CFA Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle and Bay Area Business Women. Ms. Bennett has presented to investment clubs and educational groups as well as events including UC Berkeley's annual Women in Leadership Conference.

Education and Qualifications

Ms. Bennett received her B.S. degree in accounting, graduating cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her M.B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley. She holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.

Client Relationship Manager Stephanie Platt

Stephanie Platt began her career in financial services in 1992. She graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics. She has experience with Dean Witter Reynolds and the Vestax Corporation, a small Broker/Dealer, where she headed a product division. Stephanie obtained her Series 7 in January 1997. For the next decade she acquired experience working on money management strategies. Later she transitioned into the retirement plans arena. In April 2007 she started Financial Services Outsourcing Solutions, LLC which specializes in assisting Registered Investment Advisors with their back office operations and client service.
