Marjorie Bennett, CFA
Professional Bio: Marjorie A. Bennett, CFA is the principal of Aegis Capital Management, Inc. and has been involved in the asset management and general finance business since 1981. Aegis Capital Management, Inc., was founded in 1998 with Ms. Bennett as the principal professional. Prior to Aegis, Ms. Bennett worked as a vice president in the San Francisco office of Morgan Stanley Institutional and had also been employed as a senior financial executive for Bay Area companies, including one of the original “Big Eight” public accounting firms.
Ms. Bennett received her B.S. in accounting, graduating cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her M.B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.
Ms. Bennett’s expertise has been highlighted in articles in Business Weekly, Morningstar, Financial Planning Magazine, CFA Institute Magazine, San Francisco Chronicle and Bay Area Business Women. She has presented to investment clubs and educational groups as well as events including UC Berkeley’s annual Women in Leadership Conference.

Personal Bio: Marjorie currently lives in Berkeley, California where she enjoys an active lifestyle and running half marathons. She was born and raised in Hawaii, and has a second home in Princeville, Kauai. Traveling is her passion, and her favorite vacation spots include Barcelona and New York City. She encourages her clients to follow her advice and take a little "retirement" each year from everyday life. Besides staying active and exploring the world, Marjorie enjoys renovating old homes and playing with her adorable three year old chocolate lab, Annie.

Professional Bio: Rachel graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Accounting and completed her M.B.A. degree in 1999. She has experience with financial reporting, project accounting, and client support, which she gained while working for Unocal, BHP Billiton and Accenture. Rachel brings a clear understanding of the importance of reliability and communication in each client relationship and is here to provide you with the support you need to reach your financial goals. She is currently continuing her education through the UC Berkeley Extension program in personal finance so that she can assist you in your financial decisions and retirement planning from a broad knowledge base.
Personal Bio: Although born and raised a Cajun from South Louisiana, Rachel has called the East Bay home for the last 10 years where she lives with her husband, 12 year old daughter and yellow Labrador retriever. She enjoys taking advantage of all that Northern California has to offer from the museums, sports and arts in the city to the running, kayaking and relaxing at the beaches. While raising her young daughter, Rachel was a certified yoga teacher and personal trainer which allowed her to share her love of fitness with others while helping them to reach their fitness goals.
